BAC PRIVACY POLICY

1.  Who We Are

We are the data controller responsible for processing personal data.

2.  What Data We Collect

  • Participant data (name, contact details, date of birth, medical notes)
  • Payment data (billing address, transaction info)
  • Communication data (emails, feedback)
  • Media data (photos/videos with consent)
  • Video surveillance images
  • Website data (IP address, analytics)

3.  Purpose & Legal Basis

We process data only as necessary. Legal bases: contract (registrations, payments), legitimate interest (safety, security), consent (marketing photos/videos), legal obligation (tax & accounting).

4.  Video Surveillance

Cameras are installed at entrances and common areas for safety. No surveillance in bathrooms or changing rooms.

Retention: normally up to 30 days unless longer retention is required for investigation. Access restricted to authorized staff.

5.  Media Consent & Withdrawal

Parents or participants may withdraw consent for media use at any time. Withdrawal is effective for future uses only; previously published material remains lawful but will not be reused or republished.

6.  Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell data. We may share data with IT service providers, payment processors, and event partners under data protection agreements. If data is processed outside Switzerland, we ensure adequate protection (e.g., SCCs).

7.  Website & Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies and analytics to improve performance. Visitors may disable cookies in their browser.

8.  Employee & Volunteer Data

BAC processes employee and volunteer data for HR administration, payroll, and compliance with Swiss labor law.

9.  Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Requests should be sent to admin@braswellartscenter.com. We respond within 30 days. If unsatisfied, you may complain to the FDPIC at www.edoeb.admin.ch.

10.  Data Security & Retention

Appropriate technical and organizational measures protect your data. Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, or as required by Swiss law.
